The late Anne Rice openly admitted that Countess Zaleska(GLoria Holden) influenced her own portrayal of the vampire in her novels-“it;s beautiful and delicate- more than anything else I loved the portrayal of Dracula’s Daughter as the regretful creature who abhorred killing with all her heart ans soul but was driven to it!
