I’ve compiled Best of Year lists for three different publications with varying criteria for inclusion. Here’s my Screen Daily list. My Sight & Sound list is accessible to qualified computer hackers somewhere on this page. My Empire votes contributed to this list. As usual, a glut of year-end quality films has shown up after I compiled the lists, and I’ve caught up with some worthy films I missed out on earlier. I will have forgotten all these when it comes to making the best of 2018 lists.
