   I actually saw The Keep in a cinema in Dublin when it was released in early 80s. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I remember it was panned at the time. As we left the cinema someone remarked it was “like an extended episode of Dr Who” which I thought was unfair. I found it to be very evocative, weak but different narrative, good actors , although I didn’t think much of Alberta Watson. I’ll definitely buy it if I ever see it, if only to see what I think of it now.
