Momentum Pictures and the Prince Charles Cinema
Present the London Premier of Monster Brawl
On Wednesday 15th August, in the Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Square, London.
Beer and cake from 6pm * An introduction by Kim at 6:45pm * Showdown starts at 7:00pm.
It’s midnight at the Hillside Necropolis and the stage is set for the first ever Monster Brawl main event. Eight of the world’s most legendary monsters (and their diabolical managers) compete in a fight-to-the-death wrestling tournament to determine the most powerful champion of all time. Interviews, pre-fight breakdowns, trash talking, and monster origin segments round out this ultimate fight of the living dead. Monster Brawl features an ensemble cast of comedy, horror and wrestling icons, including Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall), Art Hindle (The Brood), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes), Kevin Nash (The Punisher), Herb Dean (UFC), and Jimmy Hart (WWE).
You could win two tickets to this knockout event: comment on this blog post with your answer to this question:
Who would win in a fight between Godzilla and the Antichrist, and why?
The best answer will be chosen by Kim, and his decision is final. Let’s have a clean fight. Place your bets!
Godzilla. Lara Von Trier and Willem Dafoe would have no chance.
Godzilla because of a tag team last minute pairing with Godzooky – the animated Antichrist.
Neither. Realising the complicated futility of multiplex ignorance, and having seen both Pearl Harbor and Transformers, the duo team up to hunt down and castrate Michael Bay in the hope of saving the future of cinema. The end.
Godzilla – after all look what he did to Bambi!
Probably Godzilla, but nobody would be alive to witness such an event due to Godzilla’s atomic breath wiping out every single pectator.
Godzilla, because ( at least in films) the Antichrist never wins.
Congratulations to Sylvia Starshine for winning the tickets. And I hope the other entrants find alternative ways of getting into the premiere. xx Kim
It was fun though, even for the losers – can we have more like this? :))
