Kim will be attending FrightFest, the UK’s premier horror film festival, at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square in London, from 23 – 27 August, 2012.
On Sunday, 26th of August he will introduce each of three classic Hammer films, in FrightFest’s Rediscovery Screen. All the films have been lovingly restored to their original glory. This is a rare opportunity to see these cult favourites, looking their best, on the big screen.
The day starts off with a 12.50pm showing of The Mummy’s Shroud (1967), which was the final feature Hammer shot at Bray Studios.
At 3.20pm Rasputin the Mad Monk (1966) will be shown, which features Christopher Lee as the Russian mystic.
Finally at 6.35pm Hammer’s finest occult thriller, The Devil Rides Out (1967), will be screened.
Many thanks to Kim for three great, fun intros, and for staying for at least two of the films, and for giving a Hammer goody bag to ‘the guy who’s a fan of Michael Ripper’ – much appreciated. What a great day Sunday was.
